Organizations

The Masonic Center is home to several Masonic Organizations. These organizations meet here on a regular basis. These meetings can include regular business meetings, sharing a meal, educational events, or just some old-fashioned fellowship.

Masons

The Grand Rapids Masonic Center was built in 1915 and was only used for fraternal purposes until the mid-1980s. Though much of the Grand Rapids Masonic Center building is now rented out to a variety of tenants, it still has designated lodge rooms where a number of the active masonic lodges of the Grand Rapids Freemasons meet.

If you need any more information about the fraternity, we invite you to visit the Michigan Masonic Museum and Library located on the lower level of the Grand Rapids Masonic Center building where its knowledgeable staff is happy to answer your questions.

The cornerstone of 233 Fulton St. E was officially laid in January 1915 and the building was opened later that year with great fanfare. To learn more about the huge Masonic Fair open to the public that marked the occasion view a video prepared for the building's centennial celebration in 2015.
